Forex Gold Investor – Version 1.99 Released!

We’re excited to announce the release of Forex Gold Investor v1.99, featuring major improvements designed to enhance stability, compatibility, and overall performance. This update brings essential changes that will help ensure a smoother and more reliable trading experience for all users.

What’s New in Forex Gold Investor v1.99

1. Enhanced Auto GMT Detection

Our developers have completely rebuilt the Auto GMT system from the ground up. It now accurately detects the GMT offset of your broker, regardless of the time zone. The only setting users need to configure is the DST_Usage parameter, which offers three options:

- DST None – Select this if your broker does not switch between summer and winter time.

- EU DST – Select this if your broker follows European Daylight Saving Time (from the last Sunday in March to the last Sunday in October).

- US DST – Select this if your broker follows U.S. Daylight Saving Time (from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November).

Once the correct DST setting is selected, the EA will handle the rest automatically.

No more GMT offset issues — just set it once and trade worry-free!

2. Universal Version – No Separate Mac Build

The EA is now fully compatible with all operating systems. We've discontinued the separate Mac version. Mac and Linux users can simply download the latest version and install it manually. Please note that the automatic installer is available for Windows OS only.

3. Web Request Configuration Required

Version 1.99 requires users to allow web requests to our domain to enable successful authentication and operation.

To configure this: Go to MT4/MT5 Terminal → Tools → Options → Expert Advisors tab → "Allow WebRequests for listed URL" and add: https://www.forexgoldinvestor.com

This step is mandatory for the EA to function correctly.

4. Updated Error Messages for Easier Troubleshooting

We've revised error messages to make them more informative. Here are two common messages you might see:

"Problem during the authentication process! Please restart your MT4/MT5 terminal! Make sure our website URL is added in 'Allow WebRequest for listed URL' option of your MT4/MT5!"

→ This means you need to add our website to the allowed WebRequests list as shown above.

"Account number is not activated or activated improperly!"

→ This indicates your account may not be activated. Visit the Activation Page and ensure your account number is correctly registered/activated. If issues persist, try activating it as both a demo and real account, as some brokers may not clearly define the account type, which could cause authentication issues.

5. New Protection Parameter: Maximum Losing Trades Per Day

To enhance risk control and compatibility with funded trading programs (e.g., FTMO, prop firms), we’ve added a new protection feature:

"Maximum Losing Trades Per Day" – This parameter sets a daily limit on losing trades.

For example, if set to 2, the EA will monitor all closed trades and stop opening new trades for the rest of the day once 2 losses are detected (resetting at the defined daily reset hour).

We recommend testing different values (e.g., 2–4) in backtests to find the ideal setting for your strategy and risk tolerance.

6. Important: Previous Versions Will Be Discontinued

All previous versions of Forex Gold Investor, including v1.98, will stop functioning after April 30. We strongly recommend updating to v1.99 as soon as possible to avoid any interruptions in trading.

The authorization process is obligatory, if you haven't authorized yet, you have to do that.

Each customer who runs the ea on such accounts they must contact the support team and provide us details for their exact account such as rules and limitations, based on your details our team will suggest you a preset.

In order to login to the member area you have to purchase the robot and you will receive login details for the private member area.
